Darcie Heater Designs

Darcie Heater has been designing products for the crafting industry for over 40 years. Her talents have been utilized in various areas of the industry, including the design and manufacture of: Edible Arts Crafting Products, Rubber Stamps, Scrapbooking Products, Paper Design, Templates and Patterns, Fabric, Iron on Transfers, Embroidery, Machine Embroidery, Giftware, Instructional Books, Tole Painting, Greeting Cards and More.

Darcie started her business in 1984, after the birth of her birth of her first son.  She had previously been a bank Operations Officer, prior to her son's birth.  After the baby was born, she taught Tole Painting classes at a local craft store, and soon was publishing instruction books and manufacturing wooden items for the Tole Painting Industry.

The rubber stamp portion of the business was added in 1990, when customers began asking for her designs as rubber stamps. Soon Darcie began using the stamps, and the line grew rapidly. A line of paper products, templates and scrapbooking products was added in 1996. The business was moved to a small manufacturing facility where it remained until 2007.

The rubber stamping business was merged with Art Gone Wild (Ted and Michelle Cutts) in Cleveland, Ohio in 2007. Art Gone Wild now manufactures the rubber stamps and scrapbooking products, provides customer service, inventory management and expedites the orders. In addition, Art Gone Wild exhibits the rubber stamping booth and products at trade shows throughout the year. The merger allowed Darcie to concentrate on the design portion of the business.

Darcie has decorated cookies for years, but preferred to use her own designs for cookies.  She made her own metal cutters for years for this purpose, but with the advent of the 3d printing boom, she started printing her own cutters.  She was mainly decorating cookies for family and friends (including her 10 grandkids).  After many requests from customers who were rubber stampers and also "cookiers",  and the growing interest nationwide in the Edible Arts industry, she decided to make her designs available as cookie cutters and associated products.  After designing for the craft industry for 37 years, she has thousands of designs to choose from to "cookie", and many of  those designs will be added gradually to the new line of cookie merchandise, along with the newest images.

We look forward to meeting you in person at the various Cake and Cookie shows around the country!
